Enrolment period for the academic year 2018-2019

Dates for enrolment

Students admitted in the 1st pre-enrolment period: from July 19 through July 23 2018.

Students admitted in the 1st and 2nd pre-enrolment periods:  from September 13 through September 14 2018.

Students admitted in the 3rd pre-enrolment period: TBA

Students accessing in the Spring 2018: the enrolment will open in February 2019.


  • Period: from the 8 to the 11 of February, by means of automatrícula.

1 ECTS credit for residents of Spain, and citizens of any EU member state, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, or Andorra 46,50 €
1 ECTS credit for foreign students not residents of Spain, who are neither citizens of any EU member State, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, nor Andorra 82,00 €
Management of the Academic Records Annual Enrolment 69,80 €
Modifications and partial extensions of the enrolment 27,27 €
Specific services and learning support 70,00 €
Mandatory school insurance (only for those under 28 years old) 1,12 €

*Prices correspond to the school year 2017-2018. There may be a small change in the 2018-2019 Price Decree of the Generalitat of Catalonia, soon to be published.

Automatic or face-to-face enrolment

Automatic enrolment

Any student having an undergraduate degree issued by a Spanish institution will be able to do the automatic enrolment, provided that they have previously submitted to the Secretary of the Faculty the documents required below.

Face-to-face enrolment

All students with a foreign degree must enrol in person at the Secretary of the Faculty. Those having diplomas issued outside of the European Higher Education Area will have to pay a fee, prior to the enrolment, of a Study of Equivalence for an Academic Degree, to give access to a master program at the UB (218,15€ in 2017-2018).

Documentation to submit to the Secretary of the Faculty

• Original or certified copy of the undergraduate degree(s) *

• Copy of Identity Card (DNI), or passport, or NIE (in the case of Spanish residents)

*Students who did their undegraduate studies at the University of Barcelona may be replace this document with «expedient acadèmic».

*In the case of certificates and diplomas issued in foreign countries, these documents must be translated and/or certified according to the country of issuance .
