Master’s Final Project

 The Master’s Final Project is a one semester long mandatory course which awards 15 ECTS. It consists in the presentation of a research and/or innovation project done by the student by himself and with autonomy. The project is done under the supervision of one or two advisors, and should enable the student to display the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the master’s degree in an integrated way.

The final project will be assessed on the basis of an oral presentation and submission of the written project to a specially appointed panel of examiners. The panel for evaluating final projects will take into account the following aspects:

  • Basic quality of the project
  • The report provided by the project supervisor/tutor
  • Originality of the content/focus of the project
  • Quality of the oral presentation
  • Ability to answer the panel’s questions
  • Formal quality of the written report

The final project supervisor/s must submit a confidential assessment report on the student’s work to the chair of the examination panel.

  • Submission of the final project proposal (using the attached model): October 31
  • Uploading the written project, and submitting the authorization to proceed to the project’s presentation (signed by the supervisor) and the completed license authorizing publication of the project in the UB’s Digital Repository (signed by the student): January 10
  • Oral Presentation: January 15-31

July

  • Submission of the final project proposal (using the attached model): March 31
  • Uploading the written project, and submitting the authorization to proceed to the project’s presentation (signed by the supervisor) and the completed license authorizing publication of the project in the UB’s Digital Repository (signed by the student): June 28
  • Oral Presentation: July 01-20

September

  • Submission of the final project proposal (using the attached model): March 31
  • Uploading the written project, and submitting the authorization to proceed to the project’s presentation (signed by the supervisor) and the completed license authorizing publication of the project in the UB’s Digital Repository (signed by the student): September 11
  • Oral Presentation: September 15-30
