DEPARTMENT COUNCIL<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Council is the highest representative body of the department. It is composed of academic staff holding a doctoral degree and representatives from other groups involved in teaching and departmental management, including students.<\/p>\n

The Council drafts the department\u2019s regulations, modifies research areas, elects the Head of Department, prepares the department\u2019s annual activity plan, develops the teaching plans, and proposes modifications to academic and administrative staff positions.<\/p>\n

The members of the Department Council are:<\/p>\n

a) academic staff holding a doctoral degree,
b) up to a maximum of ten representatives from other teaching and research staff,
c) up to a maximum of eight representatives from the group of early-stage researchers,
d) up to five representatives of students from all levels of study,
e) up to five representatives from the department\u2019s technical, administrative, and support staff.<\/p>\n

ACADEMIC STAFF COMMITTEE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proposes modifications to the list of academic staff positions and to the members of recruitment and hiring committees, and is composed of:<\/p>\n
