It is an individual project that allows the student to demonstrate, in an integrated manner, the knowledge and competences acquired in the Master\u2019s degree.<\/div>\n<div><b>Selection and Assignemnt of Topics and Supervisors:<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The following steps will be followed:<\/div>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Definition of the project:<\/div>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Regular projects.\u00a0Each semester, the Coordinator will request project proposals from the faculty members teaching in the program.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Pre-agreed projects.\u00a0A professor and a student may, if they so wish, reach an agreement to propose a project. This proposal must be communicated to the Coordinator, who will be responsible for approving the assignment.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Projects with companies.\u00a0A company, a professor, and a student may, if they so wish, reach an agreement to propose a project. This proposal must be communicated to the Coordinator, who will be responsible for approving the assignment<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Validation of project proposals.\u00a0The Coordinator will validate, where appropriate, the project proposals, taking into account their suitability.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Project selection by enrolled students.\u00a0Students may select a project from the list of approved proposals.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Assignment.\u00a0The Coordinator will publish the list of assignments. Any issues regarding assignments will be dealt with directly with the Coordinator.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\"><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><b>Project Assessment<\/b><\/div>\n<div>The quality of the projects will be graded by using the following information:<\/div>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">The delivered information at the end of the project.\u00a0<b>Final project delivery must include:<\/b><\/div>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">All code produced in a GitHub (or similar) software repository.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">A project report.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">A high level description of the completed project (jupyter notebook and\/or blog entry).
