Dr. Jordi Marzo Sànchez

I did my Ph.D. at the Universitat de Barcelona, my thesis advisor was Joaquim Ortega-Cerdà. I was a PostDoc from 2008 to 2010 at the NTNU-Norway under the supervision of Kristian Seip. Since 2010 I've been Lector and Agregat Interí at the Universitat de Barcelona.

My research interests are in mathematical analysis in a broad sense. I've been working in problems about sampling and interpolation in spaces of bandlimited functions (polynomials on the sphere), well distributed points on manifolds (both random and deterministic), minimal Riesz energy points or random point processes (determinantal or random zeros).

I'm the coordinator of the Barcelona Analysis Seminar UB-UAB.
