S’ha obert la primera convocatòria de Places de Lector SH 2023.

La crida internacional per presentar-se a ofertes de professorat lector tenure-eligible estarà oberta del 6 al 30 de març de 2023.

En aquesta convocatòria el departament hi té una plaça, la UB-LE-231-025,  (oferta àlgebra o geometria), que de fet havia de sortir a la 2a convocatòria del PS2022.

Senior Research Fellowship Call

The Departament de Matemàtiques i Informàtica (Universitat de Barcelona) together with the Institute of Mathematics (IMUB) offers a senior research fellowship to spend up to 4 months (with a minimum of 3 months) starting mid September 2023.

The gross salary is 7.500€.

Requirements:

(i) A strong research record in Mathematics or Computer Science and its interactions in any area of the teams of the IMUB and the Department.

(ii) Not currently working in Catalonia.

Necessary documentation for completing the application:

(a) Curriculum Vitae (at most 4 pages) and contact data.

(b) Research proposal and list of activities (about 3 pages) to be developed together with at least one member of the department. Priority will be given to candidates that propose a seminar(s) or an advanced course.

(c) Letter from a member of the department/IMUB that agrees with the research plan.

All documents above must be included in a SINGLE PDF FILE. The file should be attached to an email and sent directly to Laura Costa (costa@ub.edu)  with the subject “Research Fellowship 2023” before March 31, 2023.
