Master’s Final Project

 The Master’s Final Project is a mandatory course which awards 15 ECTS. It consists in the presentation of a research and/or innovation project prepared by the student by herself/himself and with autonomy. The project is prepared under the supervision of one or two advisors, and should enable the student to display the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the master’s degree in an integrated way.

The final project will be assessed on the basis of an oral presentation and submission of the written project to a specially appointed panel of examiners. The evaluating panel will take into account the following aspects:

  • Basic quality of the project
  • The report provided by the project supervisor/tutor
  • Originality of the content/focus of the project
  • Quality of the oral presentation
  • Ability to answer the panel’s questions
  • Formal quality of the written report

The final project must be configured as follows:

  • Standard cover sheet (format latex)
  • Summary in English
  • Introduction and background. Definition of objectives and motivation
  • Discussion and results
  • Conclusions (not mandatory)
  • Bibliography
